Membership in the Pacific Northwest Lily Society
is a great bargain, as it gives you access to our Spring and Fall bulb sales, with prices close to wholesale for a wide variety
of lilies, both hybrids and species. Many of these lilies are exclusive previews of varieties not yet available to the general
public, or even species and special hybrids not found elsewhere at any price. You will probably save the cost of your membership
with your first bulb order! NOTE: At our Spring 2006 meeting the members voted to increase the annual
dues to $15 per year, $29 for 2 years and $42 for 3 years. This step is unfortunately necessary to defray the rising cost
of postage and other membership services. Of course, members who have already paid for multiple years will not see a change
until their dues come up for renewal.
We generally have two regular
meetings per year, held at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon in conjunction with our bulb sales, and we also hold
an educational Field Day celebration of lilies each July, a grower's field tour later in the summer, and a
winter field trip to a warm greenhouse in December. In addition to these activities we publish a newsletter twice a year for
our members. Although many of our members are unable to come to meetings and activities, we welcome those from outside
the Pacific Northwest, who can still participate in our bulb sales, receive our newsletter, and can now keep up with the latest
news via this website.
