Columbia-Platte Lilies (The Lily Garden)needs no introduction - Judith Freeman's "garden-ready" lilies are bred for health, vigor
and persistence in the garden as well as for beauty. For spring 2010 she is offering an especially nice selection of her famous
Orienpets, including some new varieties offered as EXCLUSIVES to our Lily Society!
Faraway Flowers is back with more hard-to-find lilies. Not only is Ramona Titus offering some amazing Asiatics bred by Dr. Robert Griesbach
and Warren Summers that most of us have never seen, but check out her LO (Longiflorum-Asiatic) lilies - just gorgeous!
For more details on the "Pearl" series of Asiatic hybrids and 'Rosella's Dream', please see our Featured Story page.
Mak Lilies & Perennials operated by Johan Mak Jr. - note corrected information.) is
offering a very good selection of lilies this spring. The Mak family is famous for their excellent Asiatic hybrids with
unusual colors and the best of the Dutch-bred lilies on the market, and this time is no exception. You will
have a hard time choosing from this listing!
PNWLS would like
to thank our Bulb Sale Chair, Pam Johnston, for all her
hard work in coordinating with growers and deciding what to order. We think that she did a bang-up job! Assisting Pam (and
your Webmaster!)was Tracey Nelson, who provided the online photo links with descriptions for our sale lilies, and many
of the great photos are Tracey's own work. Tracey's husband, Pat Weeden, also provided essential technical skills
and advice. We could not have done any of this without them, so THANK YOU all !!!
